WHY IS MANAEMI HERE?

Manami and Emi played Nomoto and Kasuga in the Tsukutabe drama. Because the connection started during the drama, a lot of overlap happens with the fans. If you love the Tsukutabe drama, you PROBABLY love the duo as well. If you only love the manga, you probably don't have that connection, and that's okay! But I do love me that show...and I have been following these ladies since 2024, though their relationship can be traced back literally to when they started working in Season 1 (2022)!

You may also see "MiMi Combi/Duo" uttered around here and there, by the way. While "ManaEmi" is the agreed-upon moniker in the English-speaking part of the fandom, "MiMi Combi(nation)" is the Japanese term for the duo, based on the last kanji of both ladies' first names.
